I'm Ollie, a local electrician based in Lindfield. I help homeowners around Lindfield, Haywards Heath and the surrounding villages get those small electrical jobs off their to-do list.

Small jobs are welcome.
Replace and install light fittings, upgrade existing lighting and improve lighting around the home.
Replace old or damaged sockets and add additional socket points where they're actually needed.
Replace broken, damaged or dated switches.
Replace broken outdoor lights, install additional lighting and help you use your garden after dark.
Replace and upgrade domestic extractor fans.

I've lived in Lindfield my whole life and I've been working in the electrical trade for six years.
Apparently my interest started considerably earlier than that.
Apparently it started early.
I've had a fascination with plugs and cables since I was a toddler, which apparently kept my parents on their toes!
These days I work alongside experienced electricians on everything from rewires and EV chargers to lighting schemes, fault finding and electrical upgrades.
I've worked on houses, office refurbishments, barn conversions, gardens and outbuildings around Mid Sussex, as well as projects in central London.
I've completed my City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 electrical qualifications and I'm currently working alongside two electricians, continuing to build my portfolio and experience as I work towards my AM2 assessment.
Alongside this, I'm building Electric Ols to help local homeowners with the smaller electrical jobs that can sometimes be surprisingly difficult to get someone to come and sort.
I'm reliable, flexible and I'll always be straightforward about whether a job is something I can help you with.

Upgrade rather than replace.
A customer wanted to replace inefficient downstairs halogen lighting.
Rather than unnecessarily replacing the existing fittings, I upgraded the lighting to LED while retaining what was already there.
Better efficiency. Sensible solution. Lower cost.
Rodents had damaged cabling supplying lighting across a large decking area which needed repairing before a wedding at the property.
I repaired and upgraded the lighting and added additional power, getting everything working and ready in time for the big day.
A newly built garden workshop needed power and lighting installed around how the owner actually wanted to use the space.
I completed the electrical fit-out to the customer's requirements, turning an empty building into a properly usable space.
